Ontario Moose Hunting Packges

There is no big game hunt that is more exciting than a Canada Moose Hunt. We offer archery and rifle hunts at competitive rates. Packages include seven days and eight nights accommodations. Rates are per person, in US funds. Taxes and licences are extra. A guide is recommended but optional in some areas. Guide fees are extra-$200.00 U.S. per day/7 day minimum.

Moose Hunting Notes

• Rifle should be at least a 270 or larger. When crossing the border, make sure you have your FD Form ready but do NOT sign it until custom agent advises you to do so.
• Bow hunters must use a bow with a 50-ibs pull or better, 60-ibs pull or better is recommended.
• By law, all guns must have a trigger lock and be locked and in transportation case within hour after sunset and house before sunrise.
• Hunter orange must be worn at all times while hunting or transporting to-and-from the WMU.
• Hunters need to bring their old hunting license, proper identification and passports.

Deposit

Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit.

Moose hunting reservations $500.00/hunter at the time of reservation.

Additional installment of $500.00 each required January 15th, April 15th, and July 15th in the year of the hunt. Hunting deposits and installments are non-refundable. Consideration may be given to date transfers if vacancy can be filled.

Method of Payment

• Personal cheques, VISA credit cards, traveller’s cheques, bank drafts, or cash are accepted for deposits and installments
• Visa payments will have a 3% surcharge

Check-in / Check-out

Cottage Check-in time: No earlier than 3:00 pm. Please respect this time to allow us to make sure your cottage and equipment are in perfect condition for your stay, and to save yourself unnecessary wait. Cottage Check-out time: no later than 8:00 am.

Other Rate Conditions

All rates quoted in U.S funds. Fishing package plan rates based on minimum group size of 2 adults. All fishing prices subject to change without notice.

We suggest that you make your reservations as early as possible.   A deposit of $200.00/person is required within 15 days of booking to hold your reservation.  If changes need to be made to your reservation, we can transfer the deposit to any available date in the same year.

All prices are quoted in US Funds, per person.  Applicable Taxes are not included.   We accept Cash, Travelers’ cheques, Visa and personal cheques for final payment.
